This is a composite indicator, obtained by the comparative presentation of the effects of two complementary indicators: cereals exports (expressed in thousand dollars) and livestock and livestock products imports (expressed in thousand dollars). The unit of measure is the value of import/export balance (expressed in thousand dollars). In Romania, the volume of cereals exports (calculated in equivalent financial value, expressed in thousand dollars) has increased in the last 25 years approximately 190 times. The import of livestock and livestock products has increased approximately 37 times in the last 25 years.
