The indicator Extra-EU trade in goods and services covers the trade in goods (export flows) between EU Member States and non-EU countries. “Goods” means all movable property, including electricity. Extra-EU exports are registered in the Member State where they are placed under the customs procedures. Statistics on extra-EU trade exclude goods in simple transit, received into customs warehouses or temporary trade.
