Details:
This indicator shows the percentage of graduates who are employed 1-3 years after having successfully completed their highest educational attainment, not enrolled in another form of education or training. This is a result indicator, that allows the evaluation of the efficiency of the educational system as regards the fast integration of young people on the labor market and into adult life. A high level of integration will show not only that the educational system is efficient, but also that it can adapt to labor market evolution. One of the aspects revealed by this indicator is the disruption of the labor market after the 2009 economic crisis. In the case of Romania, since 2008 the percentage dropped from 84.8%, with numbers going up again to 68.1% in 2015.
