Details:
This indicator reveals the importance of education for a nation and has direct implications in the development of the field. A well-financed educational system can be a modern system in terms of facilities and human resources, as well as enrolment, average number of students in class, students’ results, etc. At present, Romania allocates under 3% of GDP to education, while at European level an allocation under 4% is considered unacceptable, especially in the context of Europe 2020 targets.
