This indicator is calculated as percentage of population (aged 16-74) who have been involved in that activity. The indicator measures the frequency of internet use (daily/ once a week/ 3 months/ 12 months/ never), as well as several types of activities. The data has been recorded since 2006 and is presented by country and development regions. This indicator can show the access to and use of Internet and the users’ digital competences, showing especially the types of activities in which Internet users are involved and their distribution, compared to other European regions.
